Hey guys,  Today we gonna talk about 6 Habits For Highly Successful 2023, So let’s get started: have you ever heard about Seinfeld strategy?  If you don't know, let me tell you, Jerry Seinfeld is a very famous comedian of USA.

Once a comedian named Brad Isaac goes backstage to meet Jerry Seinfeld,  and asks some tips to become a good comedian.  And Seinfeld says 'write better jokes'. 

 

Now Isaac asks, 'how can I do this?'  Then Seinfeld says, 'you should know how to write good jokes'.  And for this, you will have to write every day. 

 

And while explaining this, he said  'buy a big calendar which has 365 days'.  And you can keep this calendar anywhere, on your desk, wall,  and along-with that, keep a red marker also.  And the day you write jokes, mark that day with a cross. 

 

Now when you will do this regularly,  you will see a streak of red color.  And you don't have to break that streak,  and when you keep doing it,  there will come a time when 365 days will be over.  


And in these 365 days, you will become a comedian.  Isaac feels weird after listening this and thinks that he is telling some fictional things. 

 

But no, Seinfeld confirms him that, 'I have also become a good comedian through this way'.  This is my secret and if you want, you can come to my home and see,  that my wall is full of red color.  See guys, this is one of the best strategies to develop any habit. 

 

You should also develop it.  For example, if you have to develop the habit of going to gym,  then take a calendar and mark cross on it everyday,  and suppose you don't go for one day,  still when you see calendar, motivation will come in you,  then you do workouts at your home,  still you will mark on in and will feel good.  This will make you 1% better. 

 

And as it is told in Atomic Habits, maybe you remember,  if you become 1% better everyday,  you will become better by 37%. 

 

And you can do it by doing activities everyday.  Which activities you have to do,  what are those 7 activities which can make you unstoppable,  which can take you from bottom to top,  I'm going to share those seven activities from the reference of various books,  which I have read in last 6-7 years. 

 

So let's see those habits one by one which you should develop in yourself,  by using the Seinfeld strategy.

The article and my word you are able to read today,  all the things which I have achieved in my life,  whatever the impact I have created in people's life through this website,  all this was possible because of habit of learning from books. 

 

Started reading books, listening audiobooks.  Reading books has literally changed my whole life.  Major credit of my good health, money, relationships and happiness goes to books.

 

And through this website, I am developing the habit of reading books in you.  Because I know book reading can literally change your life. 

 

It's not just me talking,  you know, in 2009, scientist Timothy Keller and  Marcel put an evidence in front of the world.  According to which, reading rewires our brain.  Means that it increases the neural connections more. 

 

 

And white matter in our brain also increases due to reading.  It is because when you read, you start challenging your perspective,  and register new information in your brain,  read words, do imagine, create pictures and think a lot about that. 

 

Which activates many parts of your brain!

That's why reading is also compared to the gym.  Like gym helps in making you physically strong,  in the same way, reading make your brain muscles strong.  And you, being mentally strong is very important to move you forward. 

 

Second Habit Is 'pair your task with your biological prime times'

 




Now let's come to the next habit which is 'pair your task with your biological prime times'.  See, our life is made of various days.  And there are various times in these various days. 

 

And there is a time for sure when there is a lot of energy in us.  Like some people have the habit of waking up early,  they feel very productive in the morning,  whereas some people feel energetic in the evening,  and some people are able to work whole night. 

 

That's why you must have seen, some successful people wake up early,  and some successful people stay awake till late night.  And there is no exact one time where maximum people feel good.  So, the lesson is you shouldn't set your work at random time. 

 

Like for example, there is a person who wakes up at 4AM in the morning,  who goes to gym, then does office work,  and achieve a lot of works,  so if you are interested then try,  but if you are not able to do that after many tries,  then there is a reason behind it which is similar to this example.  Like there is a car which doesn't have fuel,  it won't get started if you try to drive it. 

 

Similarly the fuel of your brain is high at some times and less at other times.  So it is important for you to notice that at what time, your productivity is high.

And the second trick is, which you can see in this diagram,  whatever time your energy is highest,  try to the most hardest things at that time.  And the time when you feel low,  try to do shallow work which requires less mental energy. 

 

I am repeating again,  when energy is high, do your most important, urgent and significant tasks,  and usually after lunch or the time when your energy is lowest,  at that time you can do small and insignificant tasks,  which are important but requires less mental energy.  This one habit can also change your life completely.

Now let's come the third habit, that is 'meditation pervasiveness'.  Author Dan Harris had achieved success very early in his life.  He had become the news anchor of one of the biggest channels of America, ABC News.  But still after achieving a lot of success, he was depressed. 

 

His anxiety was keep increasing  and once he got panic attack on live TV.  And he was shocked after this incident.  And then he went out for help and met some 'gurus' and took their interviews. 

 

But still he was not getting any practical solution,  and then fortunately, he moved towards meditation and mindfulness.  He got interest in it.  He started interviews of many doctors, psychologists and neuroscientists  where he understood the science behind mindfulness and meditation. 

 

On which he researched for years and concluded,  that anxiety and depression can be cured by meditation and mindfulness.  In-fact you know, meditation is called as 'software update for the brain'.  And Wired Magazines has called meditation 'tech world's new caffeine . 

 

Now you will say, why this medication is spreading in this world?  Well because science is also proving its benefits.  Science is proving that how meditation decreases the stress level,  increases your immunity and sharpens your focus ability. 

 

In fact according to the study of Yale University,  it is seen that when we meditate, the part of the  brain which generates negative thoughts stops working.  Means meditation helps in staying positive. 

 

It was shown in study of Harvard University,  those who had taken the 8 week course of mindfulness,  where they used to meditate for eight weeks,  there it was shown that Grey matter of people was increasing.  Empathy, self awareness and all these things were increasing. 

 

And their negativity was also decreasing.  Similarly when author started practicing meditation,  he noticed that usually how he used to think about past,  or was keep getting anxious about future,  but when he did meditation, he started getting peace,  his brain started to relax,  like you know that when we sleep, our brain remains active. 

 

Whereas when we meditate,  the heavy machine which is running continuously gets relaxed.  That's you also start meditation.

Now let's come to the next habit which is 'build muscles'.  See to be honest, it is very important for  a man to look manly!  See guys, nowadays there are a lot of controversies around this topic.  But I think it is good for a man to look manly. 

 

One of the best thing which you can do to look manly is building muscles.  Becoming muscular strong.  Staying fit. 

 

Because when you become physically attractive,  your self confidence starts increasing automatically,  which helps you to take better decisions,  helps you to say NO and also prevents you from the fear of rejection.  It also helps you in staying motivated. 

 

Because many people think that laziness and all these things happen in mind,  but it is not necessary.  UCLA's Brain Research Institute Psychologist, Aaron Blaisdell,  who is a researcher, had conducted a research,  and found that junk food and high sugar diet not just make your physically unhealthy,  but also changes your brain chemically. 

 

That's why adopt a healthy lifestyle in your life.  Here I am not going to tell you any specific habit like going to gym,  do cycling, swimming or running.

 

No!  Whatever the habit you think which can help you to stay fit,  start doing that.  Because it is becoming a common problem today,  our diet is unhealthy, we don't drink water,  don't do exercise, don't sleep properly,  and put the whole blame on our mind that we are not able to do this. 

 

How would you do it if your diet is unhealthy,  our body with the help of which we are going to do all things,  when that body is not getting proper nutrition,  then how would it work properly? 

 

For example, if you fuel it with water instead of petrol,  and puncturing that car instead of filling air,  and putting dirt in all parts,  and then you are expecting the car to work well. 

 

Then how is this possible? 

 


Similarly you have to make your body good,  so that you can do bigger things with the help of that.  It will increase your motivation and will help you to move forward in life. 

 


Fifth Habit Is 'solve it or get over it'

Who can bring this 6th habit in your life, that is 'solve it or get over it'.  There is a rule which you have to follow always in your life.  That is, whenever you face problem in life, keep two options. 

 

First, solve that problem and second, get over it.  It seems simple but most of the people are not able to do any of the two. 

 

They pick the third option, they keep thinking about the problem,  keep talking, keep complaining, keep criticizing and feel victim.  And all these things are the signs of a weak man.  Which will not let you do something big in life. 

 

Just complaining in very easy job but working for that, is very hard,  which only a few people are able to do.  But you have to do the same. 

 

You should know, how to deal with negative things or positive things in life.  Like, if your phone has broken, do work on buying on new phone. 

 

If you have faced breakup, do work on your personality and physique.  So that you can find another attractive partner. 

 

Have lost job?

 


Work on your skills and find the jobs.  Upskill yourself, don't waste your time,  because unless you do all these things, problems won't be solved.  Whereas on the other hand, if you have lost money,  then again work on making more money. 

 

Get over it, if something has gone, it has gone.  But focus on what you can do next!  A simple habit will completely change your life, trust me. 

 

Last Habit Is 'do things now'

 




And along-with it, remember this last habit also which is 'do things now'.  You know there was a movie 'Top Gun : Maverick' a while back. 

 

In which there is a character named Rooster who is feeling very under-confident.  He doesn't think he'll be able to accomplish his mission!  And then Tom Cruise, who has a character name of Maverick says him only one line,  'Don't think just do'. 

 

That guy listens, analyzes and starts taking action without thinking much'.  And then he completed the mission.  Although it was a fictional story but it applies a lot in reality. 

 

Many a times, it happens that we think a lot about things,  that I have to read books but how? It will be boring.  I have to make articles but how?  He starts thinking about a lot of problems. 

 

But if he starts taking actions, all his problems will be solved gradually.  But the problem is, we are afraid of taking actions.  We learn things but will be skeptical while taking actions.  And this is what you don't have to do. 

 

If you are learning something well, start taking actions for it.  Stay on Go Go mad.  Don't stay on Wait Wait Think Think mode.  


Sometimes, thinking about a thing is good.  But taking actions is more important than thinking.  That's why focus on that also.
