5 Ultimate Secrets Of Success

5 Ultimate Secrets Of Success

Hey guys! Today I am going to talk about 5 Ultimate Secrets Of Success, So let’s get started; You've probably heard the story of Napoleon Hill and Andrew Carnegie,  but you would not know that there is an important part missing in that story.  Well, what's that important part?  To explain that, let me recap the story first!  People who do not know the story, will understand the context.

Table Of Content:

The story is that  Napoleon Hill belonged to a very poor family,  he used to work in a small printing press company  where his company started writing articles related to wealth creation.  During this process Napoleon got a huge opportunity!

He got an opportunity to meet Andrew Carnegie,  to take his interview!  At that time, Andrew Carnegie was a billionaire!  He was considered as the richest person of US.  That's why Napoleon Hill was quiet nervous.

But as the interview started happening,  Napoleon Hill started liking Andrew Carnegie!  That's why instead of giving interview for 3 hours,  he spent three days with him!  Why? Because there was a reason behind it!

What Andrew Carnegie wanted?

He wanted as if he became rich  Henry Ford, Edison, Mark twain  all these influential personalities, by following a lot of principles,  had generated their wealth.

They thought that all this knowledge they had gathered  from their experience,  if we don't share that knowledge with the world, it will be wasted!  That's why Andrew Carnegie put an offer in front of Napoleon Hill.  He said that I am going to give the biggest project of your life!

It will take years to finish this project,  or maybe you won't get enough money,  I want you like me and all the people like me  who started from zero  and started with very little money to build a big empire,  you go to those people  and learn from them what success principles they used,  to move forward in your life  and collect all the knowledge and tell them the principles of success,  if anyone follows them seriously, they too can become like us.

After asking this question, Andrew Carnegie had started the timer.  Timer of 60 seconds.  He wanted answer in that time.  Napoleon Hill didn't know that thing.  But still he answered in 20-25 seconds,  that 'Yes, I will'.

To interview all his contacts Henry Ford, Edition and all the big people  who were there, Napoleon Hill was contacted and his interview was fixed,  After that Napoleon Hill spent 20 years  and wrote thousands of pages,  compressing which he made a book.

Which book was that?

Which book was that?

Well, then comes that interesting part  which most of the people don't know and I also didn't know!  I thought, the book Napoleon Hill had made,  that was 'Think and grow rich'.  But that's not true!  The truth is that the book he made first  that was 'The Law of Success'.

That means 'The Law of Success' book.  And later, he made a smaller version named 'Think and Grow Rich',  which is still in the top 10 self books.  Infact, the interesting thing is  that Andrew Carnegie made 50 successful millionaires.

But this book 'The law of success' has created more than thousands of millionaires.  So today I am going to share the principles of the same book,  which are not being told in Think and Grow Rich.

Okay?

Rule Number One

Rule Number One

So let's start with first law.  That is 'Build Tolerance'.  There is a quote of a famous person,  'You can outwork me but you can't out suffer me'.  On 17th Nov. 2012  JOE SALVADOR had went in the pacific ocean with his friend in a small boat.  Pacific ocean,  which is is spread over 165 million sq. kms.

They had went there to do fishing.  Now, their plan was to do fishing for 30 hours,  and then they'll come back home.  They had taken too little food,  to not make boat too heavy!  They had come 120 kilometers inside the sea to catch fish,  where they planned to do fishing.  But things didn't go with plan.

Because suddenly the wind started blowing very strong there,  storm started coming there,  after which they got scared.  They started peddling instantly,  and started trying to return towards the beach.  They dumped whole food and fishes they accumulated,  to decrease the load.  But there was something else in the fate!  Due to the storm,  they reached to the middle of the sea.

Their condition got worsened after the storm.  There was no food left to eat and no water to drink,  but still somehow, they were surviving.  Good thing was that it rained sometimes!  Due to which they started accumulating the rain water,  and started fishing to eat.

But sometimes when their was no rain,  they used to drink their toilet.  If not that, they had to drink the blood of animals,  by catching birds and fishes.  You can imagine, how bad their condition was.  There was water all around,  no water, no food to eat and no water to drink.

Due to which, you can say, they were surviving somehow.  Days passed and the pressure increased and their pain increased.  Those people started getting weak in mind and body.  You can say that the pressure of all these things has increased so much  that his friend died.

He died!  But Joe didn't surrender.  Despite being alone, he survived each day!  One step at a time,  the only thing he used to repeat in his head!  And days passed like this!  But nothing was happening.

Neither anyone was coming to rescue him,  nor he was getting any people.  But one day suddenly he saw a ship passing by in front of his eyes.  He found fire-gun instantly and tried to fire.  but unfortunately his fire gun was out of order!

That's why ship members couldn't see him,  the ship passed in front of him!  Along with this his courage started breaking  but still he spent many days by doing one day at a time.  You know he spent 6 months in that sea!  Somehow he survived with little food and drink!

And he covered 10000 kilometer in the sea!  He had left himself to Allah and then after that his world record was also made,  He not only stayed there for 6 months but stayed in the sea for 400 days.

Which is actually a world record.  But then on 30th Jan. 2014,  he saw an island.  He worked hard to get himself on island.  He fainted as soon as he reached Eban Atol!  And then people supported him and rescued him,  and finally he got saved!  See friends, Joe and his friend got stuck in same situation!  But Joe was able to survive  because his tolerance capability was much higher than his friend.

And author teaches this lesson.  Many problems will come in your life.  Maybe not on big level but on small level, these problems will keep coming.  But only that person will be able to face these problems,  whose tolerance level will be high, whose skin will be pearly.

Because the truth is that, this world is not for weak people.  Only strong people are able to survive here.  So, the lesson no. of this article is  that you should work on your tolerance.

Rule Number 2

Then comes second law. Around 100 years ago, when Britishers were ruling Indians,  a train was going from one station to the another.  In which majority of the people were Britishers.  But there was also a weird person,  an Indian who has worn Turban and Dhoti,  seeing which the British people were laughing among themselves!

They were judging him!  Some of them were making fun of him!  That Indian guy was concentrating on one thing siting in the corner.  For a long time he was seen concentrating like this.

After which he shouted and said,  'pull the chain before something bad happens'.  Seeing this, no one responded. All were shocked that what is he saying.  After that he pulled the chain himself.

Train stopped suddenly.  All Britishers started shouting at that Indian.  That why did you do this?  Why did you stop the train.  Idiot, this and that...  They started abusing him a lot.  After which, an officer came there  and asked him, why did you do this?  The train chain cannot be pulled just like that!  And you will get punishment for this!

That officer is saying all these things,  then the man says that sir,  if I had not stopped this train,  then today thousands of passengers who are sitting in the train  could have lost their lives.  Hearing this, that officer felt weird.

But for satisfaction, what he did,  As the man was speaking,  he asked some guards to go ahead and check the train track.  And surprisingly, when they checked the railway track,  they came to know that some nuts were missing from the track.

And it could cause the train accident.  After that, the officer and guard asked him that how did you come to know about that?  Then that Indian replied,  ever since I was sitting in this train, I was observing its speed and its moments.  Due to which I felt something abnormal.  The vibration of train were not normal.

And like this, he started explaining them some technicalities.  Due to which officers got impressed.  And why not?  Because that person was not a normal person!  He was an Indian engineer, Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya!  You probably haven't heard of him!

He was one of the greatest engineers of all time.  Due to which, today we  we celebrate National Engineer's Day on 15th September.  In this whole story, how that engineer was able to save people's lives?  Well, by doing one thing and that is 'concentrate'.

According to a recent research,  from year 2000-2022,  our attention span is decreasing.  Earlier it was said that our attention span is 12 seconds!  But in 2022, our attention span is 8.25 seconds.

You can say, because of social media, technology,  our ability to concentrate is decreasing.  Whereas the truth is if you want to be good in any field,  then doing deep work is must!  It's very important to able to concentrate.  And that's also an important law of success.

All the people who grow up and become successful,  their ability to concentrate is very powerful.  That's why work on this ability too!

Rule Number 3

Now, let's come to the next law,  which is about self confidence.

Have you ever heard about Steve Harvey?

Well, he is a TV host and comedian.  He have a show named 'Family Feud' which I used to love,  my wife also watches it.  That's an interesting show!  His show is interesting,  but his story is also interesting.

When he was young and in his struggling days,  he used to sleep in parking lots,  because he hadn't any money for home,  he used to spend time in his car.  Every day he was struggling with money!  That's why he decided to quit!

Then a sound came from his heart,  'If you believe in yourself and stand up now,  I will take you to a place that you've never dreamed of'.

After which he stands up!  He goes to call his dad,  as he starts calling his father, he sees a message on his phone.  A pending message.  When he opens, he comes to know  that the message is about Apollo Show.

Which he is saying in his message,  'Hey Steve, I have watched your random clip  I find you very funny,  and I am expecting that one spot is empty on Apollo Show,  if possible, come!  As soon as Steve reads that message, he starts crying.

Not because the tears were of happiness.  But because he had only $35 in his bank.  And he didn't have money to go to New York,  where the show was about to happen!  He got very depressed,  but somehow he kept his faith and confidence!  He had very little time!  There weren't many days left until Sunday!

That’s why he started figuring out, what he can do!  Although he was feeling very depressed,  still he didn't leave faith and confidence.  After which, he got a message,  it was written that,  'Hey Steve, this is Tom from Comedy Caravan'.

He offered him a gig for which he was about to get $150.  Obviously he wanted a job so he went there instantly,  and he did that work for which he got $150.

At that time, he performed so well with confidence,  they people liked him very much,  and Tom also!  And for which, he booked him for next day too.  And out of nowhere, he didn't have any money,  now he had got $300.

Which were enough to go to New York.  And then, he left instantly for New York,  and reached on time very hardly.  That show was quite a big show!

Many big stars were here,  like Dwayne Johnson,  who is known as Rock,  Greatest comic of all time Jamie Foxx,  all these people had performed there,  and people didn't like them. Means that people didn't like their performance.  At such a time where big legends have lost.

how can a precious person like Steve perform there?

His confidence should have gone down completely but it did not happen.  Steve went in front of the people with full confidence  and he performed so well that he got the applause of the people  and for this show he got $750 which was a huge amount for him.

You can say that from here his car started to accelerate  because he performed so well in such a big show in front of so many great people  that's why he became very famous, today his net worth is in millions of dollars.

It’s Very Important To Have Self Confidence

And this is the law no. 3 'Having Self Confidence'.  You won't be able to do it until you have the self-confidence that you can.  There is also a quote of Henry Ford,  'Whether you think you can or you think can't, either way you're right'.

Remember this thing,  it is very important to have self confidence,  only then you would be able to do something great in life.

Rule Number 4

Now let's come to the next law 'Having a pleasing personality'.  You know Diljit Doshanjh is a singer.  He once went to Canada with a senior singer,  where they had a show.  Diljit had gone to his senior singer's friend's house.

His friend's house was very awesome and grand,  although he was a great singer,  but still he praised a lot about that house,  that your fan is so good,  the dish was very good,  he started to praise like this.

Diljit was thinking that he is such a great person,  still why is he praising his normal friend?

Ans:  he asked him that thing!  That why are you doing this?  You don't need to praise so much!  Then the singer said,  I know I am praising,  infact I am over-praising by putting extra efforts,  and I am doing this so that he likes us.  Diljit says, it was one of the best lessons of his life that he learnt.

Basically, the lesson was 'Having a pleasing personality'.  Obviously you shouldn't extreme in it!  And many books talk about it,  but if you have a pleasing personality,  then obviously people will like you,  and when people like you, they will respect you and will also help you!

As described in 'How to win friends and influence people' book  that be genuinely interested in other people.  Give them genuine compliments.  If you do all these things,  then obviously people start liking you!  They thin that you don't have attitude or ego.

You are genuinely praising him!  All these things help in making connection,  which is very important to be successful in long run!

Gary Vaynerchuk also says this thing,  'being nice is one of the best strategies in the business',  which you should follow!  Not just as a strategy, but also to become a good person!

Rule Number Five

And last law which I am going to talk about is 'Vision'.  Bhavish Agarwal is one of the top 100 most influential personalities.  Bhavish Agarwal had a vision since childhood,  to become a successful entrepreneur.

That's why after completing graduation,  he worked with Microsoft for two years,  and after publishing two patents and three articles in international journal,  he quit his job!  His life was very good,  but his vision was to start his own company.

That's why he did this!  He started company named Ola Trips.  olatrips.com was his online website,  where he used to provide better deals to travel,  that was his business.  He had to travel from Bangalore to Bandipur for his business.  For which he had to book cabs.

And to be very precise, olatrip was not working so well.  For which he had to book cabs multiple times,  and one time, his cab experience became so bad.  His cab driver took money from him and didn't leave him on correct destination,  which was a very bad experience.

Because that cab driver dropped him midway,  and started fighting for money.  Bhavish gave him money on agreed terms,  but he started asking more money!  And then he got an idea,  that other people may also be facing this problem like me.

And he should do something related to this idea.  He should make good cab services,  so that no one face such problems.  He shared this idea with his parents,  his parents rejected that idea.  But because his vision was clear,  that why he didn't give up!

He went to his co-founder Ankit Bhati.  He liked that idea and came on board too!  And then he took funding from people like Anupam Mittal!  And from 2010-2015,Ola ha s generated 2,554 crore rupees as revenue!  According to me, Ola is not a perfect company  I face a lot of problems while using it,  but if a person has vision,  he can achieve many great things.

And Napoleon Hill also tells this lesson!  Those who do something great in his life and make a lot of money,  their vision is always great!  They think about the future well,  which common people can't think.  So, I want to end it with this lesson!
