Today I am going to talk about How to become POWERFUL & RICH, So let’s get started; when Dorie Clark was consulting for a big hospital, there she noticed that everyone was talking about a person, whose name was Lenny. Lenny got a new job as communication director in that hospital. But this is not what was interesting.
The interesting part was that Lenny used to work as a nurse
in the same hospital. And becoming
communication director from nurse,
getting such a promotion was a weird career change. It was obviously a curiosity generating
thing.
That's why author thought, how did it happen? Why did it happen?
That's why she went to meet Lenny, and when she asked, how did you become
communication manager from a nurse?
Lenny told that he was always passionate about technology and innovation.
So, whenever he used to get free time, he used to learn coding instead of doing
time-pass, that too by investing his own

developed some apps. And then started

things were new. When Lenny was doing
all these things, his boss came to know
about it. And he called Lenny to his

'I heard that you are developing apps and marketing them' we need social media manager for our
hospital'. And I think you can do
this. And when he got this offer, he
accepted this offer. Due to which he became
communication director from nurse.
The thing was that his boss didn't see the apps developed by
him, how good these apps are
performing, he had just heard about
them. That how Lenny is a person who
adds a lot of value, provides
value, and does a lot of work, and is
hardworking. And due to this, he had
developed his strong personal brand. Due
to which he got sudden jump in terms of money and status.
And this was about success,
there is also a story on how you can get a lot of opportunities through
failures, which the author has shared in

tell you later.
Is it’s important to have personal brand
But before that, let's understand that what personal branding is and why it is
so powerful. The story you heard
earlier that if you personal brand, how
much it can help you! How it can make
you future-proof and future-ready!
Similarly, I will share a story with you. But before that, let's understand what the
personal brand is.
On one side, there is personal brand and on the other hand, there is normal
brand. You know what the difference
is? You must know this company. But do you know the name of the founder of
this company?
Who invented coca-cola company?
The name of the founder was Dr. John Pemberton, who invented Coca-cola. And because he had not his personal brand,
you don't know him! But you know the
brand. In-fact many people are using its
product without knowing its
founder.
Because you must have seen its ads on billboards, TV,
smartphones. And this is the example of
a brand, who are selling their products
from marketing. The point here is that,
there is not a person on whom you are
trusting.
You are trusting the whole company. And you are purchasing the product by trusting
the company. Whereas in personal, it is
quite opposite.
How elon musk become billionaire
Well, most of the people know that this is Elon Musk's
company. Even if you don't have its car
but still you know this company, who
didn't spending on marketing, but still
more than 4000 people booked the car after its launch, without any ads and marketing.
Why? Because of Elon
Musk. Similarly, you must have seen that
Elon Musk keep launching a lot of things.
Like perfume, flame thrower, anything. Whatever he launches, gets sold quickly. Why?
He makes millions of money in 1-3 days.
Why?
Because his personal brand is very strong. Because somewhere, people trust/like Elon
Musk. That's why they buy everything
made by Elon. This is the power of
personal brand.
Now, why do we need a personal brand?
If you want to build a successful business, or want to get fame online, then you have two ways. Either you make a product first, invest time, money and energy in it, and start selling it by using social
media.
If your business gets success, people will know you after sometime. Like, there was the name of Ray Crok behind
the success of McDonald. This is the
first method. Or the second way is, which has become easy in today's time, which was not possible to do earlier.
That is, first you make your personal brand. People will know you first and then your
business. Means you start selling
yourself first. Show your personality,
skills, talent to the people. Build an
audience, and people would start knowing
your business because or your personal brand.
Like for example, Kylie cosmetics.
Which became a $1 billion company. Why?
Because of Kylie Jenner. And
Kylie's personality was enough for its marketing. The biggest positive point of a personal
brand, that you don't need a bigger
audience to start a successful business.
Even if you don't have millions of followers, still you can make a lot of money.
I know a lot of people,
who have 50k, 20k, and less than 10k followers, but still they are making millions of
rupees. Remember one thing, before
making a successful personal brand, you
have to ask yourself a question.
What should come in their mind when they hear your name?
That would be your personal brand. In both cases, the reason behind their
success was how people perceive
them. Like people knew that Lenny is a
tech-savvy guy. He is famous in
technology. And his boss had come to
know about it.
And due to which, when he got opportunity he gave Lenny the opportunity and made him
the head. Similarly when you hear Steve
Jobs name, what comes in your mind?
Apple, which is
connected to technology and innovation.
When you hear the name of Virat Kohli,
sports, health, vegan, nutrition would come in your mind.
Because all of them have put their story in this way. This is the reason, Virat Kohli is charging
crores of rupees for ads. You have to
follow this point to make a personal brand,
which is master your story. If
you want to make a strong personal brand,
then you have to achieve mastery on these three parts of your
story.
First, your origin story.
Second, your defining moment. And
third, your transformation! Today, all
the people who create successful personal brands you will see these three things in their
stories. I think, the most powerful
strong personal brand today is of Elon Musk.
If you see their origin story, he
belonged to South Africa.
He came to America while pursuing dual degree, this was his basic origin story. And when he made Paypal and sold it in
millions of dollars, then he became a
millionaire.
This was his defining moment. And last, when he invested his whole savings
in SpaceX and Tesla, where he built
SpaceX, and prevented Tesla from
shutting down, then somewhere it was
very trans formative.
After which he became the richest person of the world. So, if you have to build strong personal
brand, then focus on these three things
that will make a good story. Then use
3x3 method. When you figure out
that what kind of personal brand you
have to make, then you would have to use
3x3 method to build it.
What is this 3x3 method?
Well, you have to take your 3 values, and then you have to take 3 content
pillars. And when you make content, whether it is a video or social media
post, whatever you do, you have to focus on three values and three
content pillars.
And have to make it revolve around 3x3. Like, every brand shares your value. Nike says, 'Just do it'. You do, we are with you! Apple says, 'Think different'. And they try to deliver it in their every
product. Which makes their products
different from others. Disney says, 'To
make people happy'. And you notice, all
their movies and cartoons gives happy vibes.
And all have their happy endings. You might have seen any Disney movie, which doesn't have a happy ending. Similarly you have to take some values and
make content around it. Like for
example, my values are humility,
loyalty, collaborations, toughness,
ultraism.
If I consider only three values out of them, then humility is very important for me, loyalty and collaboration is very
important. With these values I build my
three content pillars which are Books,
where I humbly learn from others.
Content creation where I share those things with
people, and collaborations, toughness,
you can say that is talking about entrepreneurship! Because I think toughness and collaboration
is needed most here.
So you, you will see all these things through my
content. I always encourage people to
read books and learn from others.
Somewhere there is humility. I
favor entrepreneurship a lot because I believe in collaboration. And self reliant also comes in my values.
That's why I keep talking about passive income, business and financial freedom. Because I think all these things can add a
lot of value in your life. They can
change your life completely. And I keep
making content around it.

also choose your three values and three content pillars, and keep posting them on Instagram,
Facebook, with a magic pill which is called
consistency. And then you will make a
strong personal brand.
It will take time but one day it will make your personal
brand! I would like to share one more
story with you while leaving which shows
the power of personal branding with failure not success. Like there was a person named Bozi Dar who
was born in Serbia.
Then he used to live in US.
Where he was living a very successful life, as a science executive. And at that time, he was fascinated to
apps. He learnt developing apps, invested time and money, and invested thousands of dollars, to make an app which was useful to
anyone.
That was a complete failure.
Then he realized that it is not important that he has to make new
things, rather he has to see that in
what things he is good, through which he
can solve the actual problems of people,
and can improve their life, when
he started searching such things, he
found that he used to perform well in his day job. He was going well in corporate ladder.
He was getting lots of promotions. Due to which his colleagues started asking
him that how is he doing this? Many
times, people used to invite them to ask all these things. And as soon as he started telling his
secrets, his demand started
increasing.
At that moment, he realized that this is how he can change life of
others. And by keeping this purpose in
mind, he made a course, 'how to get
promoted faster' and it became very
successful at that time.
Where is made $25000 from that course, and then he started doing it full time. From this story, you will come to know that until you fail, you won't realize that in which field you have to make your
personal brand. That's why, don't be
